This is one of the most effective anti-smoking ads I have seen for a long time. Yes, it’s dark and unsettling as most ads that use suicide are, but mostly it's because the PSA rings of truth.
The PSA shows a man smoking a cigarette in a hanging suicide pose with a copy that reads, “It’s called suicide because it’s your choice. Give up smoking.”
The ad was created by Mercury 360 (Bucharest, Romania) with art director Andrei Nedea, copywriter Cristian Scurtu and talented photographer Ola Bell.
