From Latticed Towers to Sinuous Papercraft Buildings
Marissa Brassfield — November 2, 2009 — Art & Design
In curating this collection of airy, sinuous and cutout architecture, the single word I could think of to describe it all was airchitecture. About the only thing these incredible airchitecture designs have in common is that they integrate airflow as a key design cue; each building, however, takes a completely different approach.
In this slideshow of airchitecture, you’ll see latticed public spaces, cube-shaped construction that maximizes natural light, futuristic papercraft-inspired towers and Swiss cheese offices. Are you in love with airchitecture as I am?
