Unlock Your Key Clutter and Disarray
Katie Cordrey — January 6, 2009 — Autos
We all need some way to keep track of our keys. Some of the keys we use are virtual, like keywords and keycodes. For those of us whose lives aren’t totally tech, keys are also physical. We need them to start our car, secure our house, or open the post office box. We need some way to keep them handy and findable. It simply won’t do to be digging around in the bottom of our laptop cases for a key to get into the house.
Equally impractical is stowing a single key in your pocket—every time I do that, I find it’s the pocket with the hole, or a loose pocket from which my key escapes. Keychains, keyrings, and other key-centric devices are important to our mental health and general well-being.
I got all keyed-up about the many key-keeping trends in this cluster. I think you’ll find them fun and interesting too.
