The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) are teaming up to launch a new Electric Tiller. Crafted to empower small and marginal farmers, this innovative machinery boasts battery pack swapping and versatile charging options, including AC and Solar DC charging, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.
Additionally, the Electric Tiller supports a range of standard agricultural attachments, such as ridgers, plows, iron wheels, and cultivators. It boasts electronic controls that further streamline operations and enhance precision, helping smaller businesses thrive in an increasingly competitive agricultural landscape.
"The Electric Tiller boasts enhanced torque and field efficiency, while also prioritizing user comfort and environmental sustainability. It significantly reduces hand-arm vibration, operates quietly, and produces zero exhaust emissions compared to traditional ICE tillers," the Ministry of Science & Technology stated.
