Zak Storm – Super Pirate is a series created for young boys between the ages of six and 11 that debuted earlier this fall through Discovery Family, and Sinclair Broadcast Group's KidsClick TV. To immerse kids even deeper in the animated world, a multi-screen play experience is being launched that connects a TV with toys and a mobile app from the franchise.
When watching the series on TV, kids will now be able to sync the Zak Storm Super Pirate app and bring up "small-screen battles and adventures that mimic the real-time TV show scenes." To further this, kids are also able to collect toys from Bandai America that will offer in-app rewards that can be redeemed by scanning a QR code; this includes weapons, special powers, new worlds, strength, health and more.
