Woset Designs a Range of Stationary and Furniture for Kids

Tokyo children's brand Woset imagines a wide array of stationary and furniture that is catered for kids. The products are currently on display as a part of a pop-up at the Isetan department store located in Shinjuku. This features components such as glue crafted from rice, oversized sketchbooks, a transformative stool into an art easel, and crayons that can draw on any surface.

Brad Holdgrafer, the designer and co-founder of the company along with his wife, shares his thoughts behind the design idea. He notes "It's pared back so you don't have to be pared back. You can do whatever you want with it: you can colour it, you can break it, you can smash it, you can rip it. That sense of responsibility builds creative confidence, which is really what we hope to do as much as possible."
