Looking like a real life tree house from a fairy tale Peter Pan-like faraway land, this beautiful and authentic-looking wooden tree house in Costa Rica is the adult version of the heaven we wanted to spend all our time in as kids.
A place of positivity and nature-infused energy, this real life wooden tree house can be found in Puntarenas Canton, Costa Rica where it fits so harmoniously with its lush surroundings. Designed by Benjamin Garcia Saxe Architecture, the house is designed in a way so that it's elevated above the ground giving the whole structure an illusion of it floating in-between the treetops.
"We decided to allow the slope, the earth, the vegetation, water, and animals to flow underneath the house. This common sense solution allowed us to create a very delicate intervention, one that allows the terrain to breathe whilst providing spectacular views out towards the ocean from the key location on the site," says the design team from Benjamin Garcia Saxe Architecture.
