With the Academy Awards just around the corner, there are a lot of memes and re-interpretations of the nominated films, but this Winnie the Pooh Oscar series is arguably the cutest one to hit the World Wide Web. It features actual stills from the cartoon that have been overlaid with the titles of such movies as "The Revenant," "Bridge of Spies" and "The Martian."
The Winnie the Pooh Oscar series was inspired by a tweet from @dilsexia. Polish film blogger David Adamek of Sfilmowani decided to run with it by pulling more inspiration from the beloved cartoon. Of course, the best one is still the Tweeted version, which shows Christopher rolling around the ground with Winnie. If only Leonardo DiCaprio's experience was just as playful and lighthearted.
