Minimalist Beer Branding

The Wild Winter Ale Graphics by Bedow for Mikkeler Embrace Simplicity

The Wild Winter Ale graphics by Stockholm based design studio Bedow have been created for microbrewery Mikkeler's latest limited edition beer series. With only 3500 of these bottles being made, Bedow's modern beer labels celebrate a simplistic visual aesthetic that reads "less is more".

The bottles feature Mikkeler's branding and a written alcohol content that can be seen above a charming apple tree illustration. This tree illustration varies in accordance to each of Mikkeler's four seasonal beer flavors that include Spring, Summer and Autumn in addition to their Wild Winter Ale.

Thanks to their heat-sensitive color printing feature, the bottles' tree illustrations lose their leaves if heated, encouraging drinkers that the beverage is best served cold while reminding us of the falling leaves during Winter.
