The Fierce Beer x Aberdeen FC Wasp Stout has been unveiled as the latest creation from the partnership between the beer brand and the football club that will offer fans something new to try out this winter.
The beer comes in with a 4.2% ABV and is based on the dry Irish style stout with flaked and roasted barley used in the brewing process. This creates a beer with a rich, full body that has a dark roasted character which is further enhanced with the Maris Otter pale malt in the recipe. The beer boasts a yellow and black branding as a nod to the wasp-inspired aspect.
Sales Manager at Fierce Beer Craig Cargill commented on the Fierce Beer x Aberdeen FC Wasp Stout saying, "The opportunity to launch Wasp amidst the ‘stout revival’ of the UK couldn’t have come at a better time. As an Aberdeen-based brewery, Fierce Beer welcomes any new team up with Aberdeen Football Club, but this one we are particularly excited about as it’s something completely different for the football community."
