Artist and filmmaker Warwick Thornton has created an eye-opening photography project that presents children who have fast food items strapped to them like bombs. This artist is presenting the similarities between suicide bombers and children with poor eating habits.
The images show a young boy with fast food burger wrappers and soft drink cups strapped to him. Another image shows a young girl with pop cans strapped to her. Warwick Thornton is attempting to shed some light on the current health issues that sugar-infused foods have on youth.
This artist wanted to specifically focus this project towards "the issue of the high rates of chronic heart disease, diabetes and high cholesterol in the Aboriginal community." His project titled 'The Future is Unforgiving' presents the harsh reality of childhood obesity.
