Australian designer Ross Gardam presents the new Volant chandelier, which is a lighting sculpture that is made up of angled bars and tubular glass shapes. It made its debut during Milan Design Week this year and it can be described as something that is almost "akin to a kinetic sculpture."
It has a slender series of components that hand from the base and it is made to look like it is in motion and moving around one another. The light section is made from pearl white glass and has textured glass pinned to the top attaching to the ends that are made from bronze or brass. Gardam explains that "The result is an elegant equilibrium that's at once enthralling yet soothing."
