Most people including cyclists are not aware that they have as much right to the road as drivers, yet accessories like the VibraSee are necessary to state their territory as they commute to their destination. The VibraSee is an attachment inspired by mice whiskers. Securing to the front of the bike, the VibraSee extend outwards to indicate the safe distance between commuters.
Designed by a team of students from California State University-Long Beach, who were advised by David Teubner, the VibraSee not only lights up to provide more visibility for the user, it also moves back and forth to signal turns. When not in use, the VibraSee bends backward to stay conveniently out of the way.
