Vegans rejoice because Trader Joe's just launched a new Vegan Spinach & Cashew Ravioli plant-based pasta.
While many ravioli pastas are vegetarian-friendly, Trader Joe's realized that many of the cheese-filled varieties were not very accessible to vegan consumers. In an effort to change this, Trader Joe's has created new Vegan Spinach & Cashew Ravioli. This plant-based dish is made by a supplier in Italy from egg-free semolina pasta. Each ravioli is then stuffed with a delicious mixture of sautéed spinach, creamy cashew cheese, and a sprinkling of breadcrumbs. The result is delicious pasta that's ready to eat after just a few minutes in boiling water.
And while the pasta is creat just just a little olive oil and red pepper flakes, Trader Joe's also suggests tossing it with a vegan-friendly pesto or other sauce.
