The Baked Roots Bar is a new destination in Portland, Oregon, for vegan french fry dishes.
While there are now a growing number of eateries that focus on a single ingredient or type of food, Baked Roots Bar boasts an incredibly simple menu with just seven options. Each of these items, like the Round Table, the Bill of Rights and the Ubuntu, take inspiration from six different continents. The seventh option on the menu, Glaciology, is a dessert float that is described as "chocolate, peanut butter icebergs submerged in gloriously fizzing root beer."
The seven-piece, plant-based menu was inspired by the travels of Baked Roots Bar's three founders Elvira Raposo, Sade Perez and Michael Partridge.
