Athens, Greece-based photographer Vagelis Valeontis's recent series 'To The Point' catches the eye with its minimalist but also psychedelic design.
Throughout the series, model Esther Mastroyianni is shot posing against a black and white polka dot background that shifts and bends from frame to frame. In the first shot, the dots are evenly spaced and adhere to a grid pattern. In subsequent frames, the dots follow the contours of Mastroyianni's body for a warped, bent look. Adding to this topsy-turvy aesthetic are the various pieces of white furniture found throughout the frames which blend into the background; Mastroyianni sits and leans on these objects and, in doing so, plays with viewers' sense of depth.
As far as the clothing goes, stylist Aris Georgiadis's classic dresses are the epitome of elegance and grace. Similarly, Vassilis Stratigos's hair and make up are the perfect finish to the series' striking aesthetic.
