Urban-Think Tank (U-TT) is the though behind vertical architecture and, more specifically, vertical gyms in Caracas, which is the capital and largest city of Venezuela. While, according to BBC, the project was intended to wrap up and open its doors at the end of last year, Acumen recently brought the innovation back to the table with an article by Bhaskar Chakravorti, called "Tomorrow's City Living Ideas From Today's Slums."
U-TT was given as an example to how design should be altered in terms of the context or environment. While that may seem obvious, Chakravorti writes: "Building materials suitable for slums must evolve, adapt, and become sturdier after every disaster."
