In celebration of King Charles III's coronation, Urban Eat has announced it would introduce a new line of Food-To-Go chillers around the nation this spring. The line features two royally-inspired British sandwiches, including the 'Smoked Ham and Egg' and the 'Coronation Chicken.'
"[The] Food to Go category has gone from strength to strength in recent months and we expect this to increase further as the weather warms up and more people are out and about. We’d therefore encourage customers to see in a new era of history and make the most of increased footfall by stocking up – and enjoying majestic sales as a result," said Abigail Nelson-Ehoff, brand manager at Urban Eat.
To make sure customers can clearly identify the limited-edition delicacies, the sandwiches will also be wrapped in patriotic Union Jack wrapping. The Coronation collection, which is available at forecourts, convenience, education, and contract catering merchants, will be promoted extensively upon launch.
The sandwiches will be available starting April 17th until June 9.
