Urban Art Exhibits

McDonald's Stained Glass & More

The images featured in the gallery are from a show called "Inside Urban Art" which was held at the Andipa Gallery in London. It looks awesome and I am most fed up I missed it.

The show was a collection of urban artists from the UK, France and Canada. While this type of art wasn't really considered art until a few years a go, I think these images prove it does indeed have a place and a market.

The Andipa gallery does not endorse the removal of street works from their original context and only sells studio created works. It wont sell stuff people nabbed off the street!

My stand out favourite is the McDonald's stained glass set, followed closely by the deer. The minute detail needed for the M&M piece is also mind boggling.
