Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? I say, let’s head to Place Vendome, Paris to find out.
French designer Arnaud Lapierre from Paris recently designed and unveiled his impressive mirror cube art installation at said location, which was specially created for the 2011 Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain (FIAC) Art fair. The unique installation consists of nothing more than mirrors and creativity; a ring of mirrors, to be exact. The structure allows the visitors, narcissistic or otherwise, to see themselves and the surrounding historic square of Place Vendome from a different perspective.
In regards of his mirror cube art installation, Arnaud shares, "It is to capture emotions with absolute rigor. The design is above all: a way to see and understand."
