Mental Health Cafes

Marks & Spencer's Unique Cafes Encourage Discussions on Mental Wellness

Over the years there have been many unique cafes launched around the world, but rather than putting a focus on food or beverages, Marks & Spencer is launching 'Frazzled Cafes' to encourage discussions on mental health. These cafes are being launched in partnership with Ruby Wax, who is recognized as an American author, comedian and mental health campaigner.

Free, regular sessions are set to be held after-hours at the M&S Cafes, which will simply serve as a place for people to congregate and express their issues in a safe space. While the Frazzled Cafe is not meant to be a replacement for professional mental health services, it does open up a dialogue about mental health and offer help to people in an accessible way.

Soon, the Frazzled Cafe will be a registered non-profit charity and additional locations will be set up across the UK.
