U26 Architecture Studio Comes up with a Banana-Like Facade

U26 Architecture Studio has presented a forward-thinking design that mimics that of a bundle of bananas. While most would not consider fruit as a good source of inspiration for buildings, this studio found motivation in the unexpected.

The building is intended to be a food storage unit located in the Philippines in Southeast Asia. This design is far different than anything in the area, and is sure to stand out when completed. What's more is that these tubes can be added onto, so that the structure can be continually expanded and grown accordingly.

For a food storage unit, this design by U26 Architecture Studio is certainly one that will get noticed in the area of the Philippines. Photo Credits: designboom, utwentysix
