MIT Students Create a Two-Hundred-Foot Tetris Game on Building Window

MIT students are known for creating alluring visual displays on the outside of the campus' Green Building (Building 54), and the two-hundred-foot Tetris game that dons the windows of the grid-like building is no exception.

The home of MIT's Earth and Planetary Sciences department has been transformed into a gigantic, playable version of the popular tile-matching game that has users shifting geometric shapes around. The building is arranged with windows that lay in a 18 x 9 grid, which closely resembles the 20 x 10 grid used in the Tetris game.

Users on the ground have a control panel which they can use to move the pieces around in an effort to avoid filling up all of the windows of the building with colored shapes and losing the game.
