Changing a structure that was originally made in the 1800s, Tom Givone crated the Twist Farmhouse as a surrealist art piece. Located in rural Pennsylvania, the project required a complete renovation of the existing structs, as well as a large extension.
Keeping the traditional form intact, the home now holds a unique and curvy shape that was inspired by the designer's family bond -- appearing as though it is being pulled toward the childhood home across the way. Using salvaged timber and vintage fixtures, the interior harmoniously blends together with the modern furniture pieces.
By taking a classic piece of architecture and putting a surreal touch on it, the Twist Farmhouse has become a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
