Japan's annual tradition of observing the autumn moon is right around the corner and Wendy's Japan has teamed up with First Kitchen to debut two tasty new offerings for the occasion: the Tsukimi Mocchi Teriyaki Ginger Burger and the Tsukimi Mocchi Teriyaki Ginger Chicken Tatsumi Burger.
The Japanese word for this moon-viewing ritual is tsukimi, but tsukimi also used to describe the way you eat noodles with a raw egg cracked into the broth because the yolk somewhat resembles a full moon. With this in mind, Japanese brands have been leaning into the egg imagery for moon viewing offerings and Wendy's and First Kitchen's latest offerings are no exception.
