Domino's is wadding into the "Does pineapple belong on pizza?" debate in Japan with the debut of two new pineapple-heavy pizzas called the Tropical Twist Quattro and the Extreme Pineapple Twist Quattro
To help customers settle on an answer to the age-old question, the brand is releasing two pineapple-themed pizzas with a controversial crust. The first of the new pizzas is called the Tropical Twist Quattro, which features four unique pizza toppings: Tropical, Spicy, Garlic Master, and Korean Short Ribs. On the other hand, the new Extreme Pineapple Twist Quattro features four distinct flavor quadrants: Ham and Pineapple; Ham, Pineapple, and Jalapeño; Beef Short Ribs and Pineapple; and Pineapple, Smoked Bacon, and BBQ sauce. Both pizzas also feature the divisive Tropical Twist crust, which is a crust filled with a creamy mixture of mozzarella cheese and pineapple sauce that allows you to enjoy, as the brand puts it, "the refreshing and fruity harmony of melting cheese and pineapple up to the very last bite."
