Paris-based designer and artist Gilles Eichenbaum, AKA Garbage, recycles antique kitchenware to create these unique light fixtures.
Using items such as vintage coffee pots, tea pots, frying pans, forks and colanders, Eichenbaum cleverly matches each item with other objects to create these unusual pieces of decorative, functional furnishings.
Garbage claims to have come into this trade through his use of found items during his travels. While camping or living out of a truck, Eichenbaum said he would use an old pot as a lampshade, or fashion a chair from scrap wood. Eventually he began to sell his creations after realizing people found his unique use of odd objects fascinating.
