TRASHMANGRN, a boutique fashion brand specializing in handcrafted and upcycled clothing, has partnered with superstar singer Billie Eilish, sportswear giant Nike, and non-profit organization Goodwill to release a sustainable apparel capsule.
The garments included in this one-of-a-kind capsule are made from vintage Nike pieces, including 80s-era windbreakers, crewnecks, and hoodies. These retro pieces have been repurposed by TRASHMANGRN with bespoke patchwork, hand-dye treatments, militia accents, and RiRi Zippers. Meanwhile, structurally, the pieces borrow from Billie Eilish's signature relaxed fit preferences and, therefore, feature almost entirely oversized silhouettes.
The new sustainability-focused collection arrives with an accompanying campaign that was shot in Cebu, Philippines. The campaign's photographer, Jayson Palacio, said that the photoshoot intended to capture the notion of "beauty in ruggedness."
