3D-Printed Track Lighting

LimeLite's 'On Track' Range Transforms Energy-Efficient Lighting Systems

There are plenty of energy-efficient light bulbs that are beneficial to the planet, but many of them boast unattractive designs that beg to be concealed—LimeLite's 'On Track' range offers a solution to this with 3D printing.

The 3D-printed luminaire housings created by LimeLite in collaboration with designers from Swinburne University of Technology‘s School of Design show off a variety of unique geometric shapes. Some of the styles include The Jet, Disco and The Petal, each of which is made from ABS and other materials that are self-extinguishing and capable of withstanding extreme heat.

The beauty of 3D printing is that there are plenty of customizations that can be made to the lighting system, with different variables offered for the housing color, LED color and even the angle of light distribution.
