The Razor Red ‘Tom Boy Kelly’ Photoshoot is Combative

The Razor Red ‘Tom Boy Kelly’ editorial puts model Kelly Mittendorf’s aggressive side on display. The production captures the Arizona native as she pouted and screamed, infusing the pages with an intensely stylish drama.

Tom Boy Kelly will be featured in the 16th edition of Razor Red for its Fall 2012 issue. Photographer Tak Sugita did a remarkable job of picking up on Mittendorf’s movement about the set as she wielded scarves and bits of fabric in her polished hands.

Mittendorf’s furry, feathery and certainly fiery ensembles stemmed from stylist Takao’s vision for this animated spread. Together the pieces took on lives of their own, aided in part by the barren white and grey scale background.
