ToiletPaper Magazine, founded by photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari and Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, has announced the launch of a new surrealist beauty line made in partnership with La Bottega, an Italian cosmetics label.
The new collection sees ToiletPaper apply its bold, trippy aesthetic to a new line of body, bath, and home products, infusing them with a lighthearted flair that is both artistic and playful. For example, the new line includes a dish soap that comes printed with a spaghetti pattern on the bottle. Meanwhile, a new home fragrance product arrives with an image of a playing card placed between a person's rear cheeks.
"In our images, we often find a world in which reality is subverted, ambiguous and alienating. This is the approach that we also wanted to bring to this collaboration and which is expressed both in the products and in the packaging, said Ferrari in a recent press statement.
