The latest from Kidrobot is a collaboration with Gary Baseman for Toby’s Secret Society Set, which is quite different from what most are used to seeing from Kidrobot.
Normally Kidrobot is known for releasing a series of quirky, unapologetic characters to the public. This time, they've asked Gary Baseman to release his own creation called Toby’s Secret Society Set, which brings something new to the table. There are seven figures in total and each are spirits and brethrens commanded by Toby, the protector of dreams. The design takes on a more abstract, artsy undertone that's a welcoming change to the usual urban designer toys.
There will be a special signing and release for Toby’s Secret Society Set at Kidrobot’s Melrose location in Los Angeles on Oct 20th, from 6pm-8pm.
