The creators of plant-based pizzeria Virtuous Pie are launching a new company called TMRW Foods that makes alternatives to traditional minced meat and burger patties with familiar, whole food ingredients.
While many brands are competing to make plant-based burgers that replicate the look, taste and texture of meat, the ingredients included are often heavily processed. TMRW Foods is on a mission to introduce new meat alternatives that specifically cater to "people who enjoy eating meat, but want to increase their intake of protein from plants."
The signature, non-GMO and soy-free TMRW Burger boasts 21 grams of protein per patty and is made with a simple yet satisfying combination of ingredients like quinoa, kidney beans, split peas, hemp hearts and sunflower seeds.
