For just one month only, The Front Yard at Ellis Island Hotel, Casino & Brewery will be transformed into The Island at Ellis, a hidden Tiki bar pop-up to provide a kitschy, summery escape. There will be 10 island-themed specialty drinks on the menu, along with beer cocktails and reinterpreted classics like the Teriyaki Chicken Burger, Tiki Quesadilla, and Coconut Shrimp.
The oasis in the city, sponsored by Bacardi, will be outfitted with swordfish, staff in Hawaiian-themed outfits and Tiki decor to set the mood. The Island at Ellis will only be around for a short time yet it promises to be an enticing way to help people feel as if they've traveled for a treat.
