While many fast food chains are rolling out Beyond Meat burgers, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes has just added its own 'The Vegan' burger to its popular Lifestyle Burger lineup. Unlike Beyond offerings, which are meant to mimic the taste of meat, MOOYAH is focusing on a more traditional type of vegan patty made from beans.
The Vegan burger is a plant-based offering made with a Dr. Praeger’s Black Bean burger patty. The burger is then topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, BBQ sauce, and a generous portion of avocado. The whole thing is served on a non-GMO potato bun. As MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes' Vice President of Brand Natalie Anderson Liu explains, "We wanted to be able to provide our Guests who live a vegan or flexitarian lifestyle with a delicious burger."
