Chinese social networking company Inkeverse has announced that it will be launching a new metaverse product targeted toward Gen Z teens called 'The Place.' Similar to other leading metaverse platforms, The Place will consist of a 3D virtual world and will facilitate immersive social experiences through unique environments and real-time audio interactions.
Once signed up, users will be invited to customize their avatars by adjusting their faces, bodies, and clothes. From there, they will be able to roam The Place freely, where they can interact with other users and participate in unique online activities. Catering to a youthful audience, the platform will offer virtual skateboarding, graffiti, night clubs, video rooms, concerts, and more. Although Inkeverse is a Chinese company, the new metaverse platform is set to launch in the United States and Europe.
