'ASPECT' design studio collaborated with 'CHROFI' architects to create 'The Goods Line' in Sydney Australia. This linear walkway is located in place of an old railway track. The idea for this walkway is to create a useful green space for tourists and citizens alike.
The Goods Line used the old tracks to create a new space because the route connects the city’s current railway square and Ultimo neighborhood to Darling Harbour. The new cyclist and pedestrian walkway passes numerous historical landmarks making it a highly cultural experience.
The ultimate goal for this project is to create a community-focused environment that provides a green space and a historically interesting sightseeing tour as well. The entire walkway makes use of parks, seating areas and informational plaques.
