For years, environmentally minded brands have been making solid haircare products to reduce packaging and offer more concentrated product formulas, and The Dissolving Bottle introduces bottle-shaped shampoo bars. Rather than twisting open the caps and popping them off, the entirety of these body care products are ready to be activated with water to start a rich lather.
Each bar replaces a 90ml plastic bottle and the blocks are produced locally in the Philippines by The Naturale Market with organic ingredients. After introducing this concept to the world, BBDO’s Filipino arm BBDO Guerrero has open-sourced the design so that other brands can use it to reduce waste. As such, The Dissolving Bottle will become part of LUORO’s plain b brand and shoppers in Europe will be able to purchase varieties like Shiny Rose, Red Blood Orange, Patchouli and Cedar and Fresh Aloe Vera.
