'The Bar' has been created by Finland-based dairy and food company Valio as a milk chocolate bar crafted in a decidedly futuristic way. The chocolate bar was designed by humans, but features a recipe that's based on the artificial intelligence (AI) analysis of milk chocolate fans' thoughts, cravings and tastes on a worldwide scale. The proof of concept chocolate bar was created with the help of chocolate artists Kultasuklaa and maintains an artistic form that is topographical in aesthetic.
Senior Vice President Timo Pajari spoke on 'The Bar' from Valio saying, "The needs and preferences of global milk chocolate fans are changing. Growing awareness of health challenges affects the confectionery industry with governments around the world already starting to regulate sugar use and consumption. With our Valio Bettersweet solution, the taste remains the same even though the amount of sugar is reduced."
