Last fall, the Mexico-based company Fraternity Spirits expanded its Tequila Corralejo brand to include three premium expressions. With each expression boasting a different flavor profile and price point, the collection makes high-end tequila more accessible to consumers.
The new Corralejo tequila trio consists of three different varieties, each of which are made from 100 percent blue agave. The first of the new tequilas is Corralejo Reposado 1810, which is aged in oak for 11 months to create notes of soft wood, chocolate and grapefruit. The second is Corralejo Extra Añejo, which is a full bodied tequila that boasts notes of cinnamon, walnut and cloves. Finally, the Corralejo Silver 1753 is made with a slow distillation process that gives it aromas of herbs, lemon and mint peppermint. Each expression is then bottled in a colorful, long-necked bottle with a glass stopper affixed to the end.
With tequila quickly becoming the spirit of choice for many consumers, the Tequila Corralejo trio offers a range of options to please any palate.
