In order to celebrate its own 4G mobile network, Norwegian telecommunication company Telia created a dynamic advertisement starring a group of drones that band together to put together a layer cake.
The offbeat commercial includes a cast of flying UAVs that work together to layer a cake on a platform before decorating it with icing and adorning it with icing and other candies. Near the end of the commercial, one drone is skillfully flown with a small torch to light up the entire cake.
While drones are now being used for everything from disaster relief deliveries to reconnaissance missions, this commercial explores some of the ways that they can be used for playful promotions involving artfully arranged aerial choreography.
