Photographer Mike Allebach only captures weddings that include tattooed brides. Many brides have been deemed unconventional for not covering up their tattoos on their big day. Mike says he loves looking for ways to "draw others into the circle and make them feel wanted."
One of his clients was told (by another photographer) that she would be charged for air-brushing her tattoos (she never implied that was what she wanted.) Mike captures the tattoos in their entirety and still ends up with just as beautiful photos.
The tattoos, along with Mike's photography skills, bring out each bride and groom's personality and makes for an even more vibrant and colourful photo. He strives to capture "true people" with "true stories," not photoshopped fairy tales. There are tons of wedding photography blogs out there, but this one definitely makes a statement.
