The Tasting House Launches Tate & Lyle Sugars' Taste Experience Line

As though modeled after the witch's sugary abode in the fairytale 'Hansel and Gretal,' the Tasting House is a pop-up cake hotel filled with curious confections and imaginative desserts. Created for British cane sugar brand Tate & Lyle Sugars, the Tasting House launches the latest ‘Taste Experience’ range of golden and brown cane sugars.

The Tasting House was curated by Miss Cakehead. She brought together a team of food artists including Sarah Hardy Cakes, Nevie Pie Cakes, Cakeadoodledo, Carina’s Cupcakes, Rosalind Miller, Juliet Sears and Two Little Cats Bakery to bake everything from vanilla sponge cushions to a meringue rug and even a bath filled with caramel-coated popcorn. Using more than 600 kilos of Taste Experience sugar, the Tasting House took over 2000 hours to create.
