Elevated Crane Treehouses

Home Improvement Company B&Q Set Up a Sustainable Treehouse

DIY and home improvement retailer B&Q recently set up a unique sustainable treehouse in a most unexpected place—on a crane.

The newly launched Canopy & Stars at Crane 29 experience has been three years in the making and three weeks under construction. The structure takes the form of a low-impact, zero-carbon building that is made from sustainable building materials from B&Q. Despite its unusual location, the treehouse on a crane is outfitted with everything from pollinating plants to small-space solutions, demonstrating the ease with which consumers may take away similar ideas for their own homes.

For the months that the Canopy & Stars at Crane 29 is installed, it will welcome hundreds of visitors and all profits will be put towards Friends of the Earth.
