Youth Troopers for Global Awareness (YTGA) is a youth-led Canadian non-profit based in Mississauga, Ontario. Since their launch in 2006, they've added chapters for youth passionate about positive social change in Toronto and in Islamabad, Pakistan.
One of YTGA's upcoming projects is the launch of Studio 89, a social enterprise cafe in Mississauga that will offer fair trade products while also serving as an "artademic resource centre."
YTGA focuses primarily on current issues, women's issues, children's issues, human rights and media influence. They blog about these issues and get involved in projects -- such as raising funds for a documentary to bring awareness to modern sex slavery in Canada.
