Architect and designer Olivier Dwek put together this stone home in Belgium that subverts traditional rules of proportion to create a structure that is stunning and asymmetrical. The house is entitled the DS House that focuses on offering an imperfect aesthetic that is incredibly striking and keeps the viewers eye constantly entertained with new aspects to gaze at.
The DS House features several innovative, modern and stylish components including a Japanese stepping stone garden. The home features a concrete block structure with slightly varying proportional sides with large glass windows. The method behind the design process was to create various rooms as their own entities and then piece them together rather than come up with one over-arching theme.Photo Credits: designboom, olivierdwek
