Nathan's Famous is the latest brand to enter the chicken sandwich wars with its new Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and Sticky, Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich. But unlike other brands, chicken thighs are the star ingredient of this brand's new creations.
Nathan’s Famous recently announced that it will be serving up two tasty new chicken sandwiches: the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Sticky, Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both will be made with flavorful boneless, skinless chicken thighs – a unique offering in the quick-service space. As the brand's Senior Vice President, Restaurants James Walker explains, "After a great deal of research and development, we found that the use of the chicken thigh gave our new sandwiches a flavor punch, offering a juicier and more intense flavor due to the dark meat."
Both of the chicken sandwiches will be part of Nathan’s Famous' new value menu and will be priced at $7 each.
