Adam Taylor Architecture's latest creation is the Stewart House, a private residence that was designed to withstand and easily cope with the highly demanding environment and extreme southern sun.
The exterior features a unique privacy screen that not only provides shade from the strong sunlight but also offers an escape from the busy road out front. Set in a seaside city, the new home was built to resemble a modern yet classic structure with colors the blend into the sand and surrounding seagrass. Without restricting views from the inside, all of the windows are protected yet open to look outside easily without strain.
The Stewart House was created in single pieces with a simple steel frame, allowing for a sturdy and desirable aesthetic.
