Riding in a Starbucks train is one way to get customers looking forward to their daily commute.
While taking public transportation isn't the most enjoyable experience, a transit service in Switzerland called SBB has transformed one of its cars into a Starbucks store, where people can relax and enjoy their favorite drink, to get people looking forward to train rides.
To accommodate as many people as possible, the design ensured that the double-decker car would be able to sit 50 people comfortably. A lot of care and planning had gone into the design plan to make sure customers feel like they were having a true Starbucks experience. Since the coffee shop usually has bar stools, cushioned chairs and group seating, the creators decided they wanted the train to have the same elements. While solo commuters can comfortably read the paper on a bar stool, friends traveling together can have an intimate coffee at a table.
What makes this Starbucks train even better than the regular shops is that it even has waiters taking your order and personally bringing your drink or snack to you so you don't risk losing your spot.
