Global Sing-Alongs

Starbucks Love Project 156 Brings Countries Together in a Worldwide Lovefest

In support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, on December 7th, Starbucks Coffee Company invited the world to a live global sing-along performance of the Beatles legendary hit ‘All You Need Is Love.’ The response was overwhelming, people from 156 countries spanning the globe sang and played instruments from their homelands in a style reflecting a taste of love from each individual culture. The performances were simultaneously streamed live over the Internet to a single London location.

Although not their intent, Starbucks set a new Guinness World Records record for "Most Nations in an Online Sing Along." You can still join the Starbucks Love Project by adding your own voice at their WEBsite. Starbucks will contribute 5 cents to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS for each new voice recorded.

This is one video that needs to go viral, spread the global love—pass it forward.
